18 July – 3 August — Festival della Valle d’Itria

The Festival della Valle d’Itria is one of the oldest summer festivals dedicated to opera and vocal music in Southern Italy, and remains a key reference point for music lovers.
Nestled in the hills of the southeastern Murgia, Martina Franca is a baroque town with stunning views over the Valle d’Itria, surrounded by vineyards, ancient olive groves, and lush forests. Established in 1975, the festival has always stood out for its rediscovery of rare or overlooked operatic works and musical gems.
This year’s theme of war and peace shapes the program.
