Apulian Design Inspo

Do you love the style of our homes? The Mediterranean character of Apulia is not only something to experience on holiday — it can also inspire the way you design and decorate your own spaces. From traditional stone alcoves to sleek contemporary touches, here are a few ideas to bring Apulian flair into your interiors.

Tradition: The Authentic Mood

In some residences, we have chosen to emphasize authenticity. Exposed stonework, vaulted ceilings, alcoves, and narrow corridors bring out the historic character of Apulia. Kitchens that open onto shaded verandas create spaces rooted in the landscape and local culture.

Here, wood takes center stage — aged and worn with time. Wooden tables marked by use, embroidered linens, woven baskets, and furniture with carved handles and ornate legs recall a rustic yet refined atmosphere. The color palette celebrates white and the natural shades of the Apulian countryside: soft sand tones, pale browns, and muted sage greens.

Contemporary: Playing with Contrast

Other homes focus on light, openness, and the clean lines of contemporary design. Large windows frame infinity pools and gardens, while interiors embrace minimalism with warmth: marble kitchen islands, leather armchairs, and linen sofas.

It’s never a cold or detached modernity — instead, stone and texture are welcomed. You might find an olive wood table with visible grain beside a pared-back hanging rail instead of a wardrobe. Essential fabrics and simple curtains complement spaces where cement-grey walls meet natural stone. The dominant bright white is often lifted by vibrant accents of lime green, lemon yellow, or aqua blue.

Finding the Balance

Often, our most-loved properties combine the two worlds. A villa might pair ancient stone corridors with a modern open-plan living area, or place a rustic fireplace alongside sleek contemporary furnishings.

Whether you’re inspired by the rustic textures of tradition or the clean lines of contemporary style, each of our homes offers a unique way to experience Apulia.
