The property is a small set of trulli
perched on a hill in the elegant Cinera district in the heart of the Itria Valley and has 4 individually designed bedrooms, each with its own story to tell. All the rooms have been conceived as
spaces of sppontaneity and draw on tradition by reinventing it with unprecedented touches. In the background, thick olive trees, prickly pears and long rows of vines.
The circularity of the cones has a unique
story to tell for each room. From the farmyard you enter the alcove, an informal sitting room that preserves the original limestone floors. The installation 'butterfly' by the architect Camilla Castaldo captures the eye and invites us to go further. The three bedrooms open in a radial
pattern: the 'cippone' suite is characterized by the Botamic style enhanced by the fabric of the designer Livio de Simone,
positioned as a decorative panel on the four-poster bed; in the en-suite bathroom the shower has been created in an old cone. The 'Culumbara' suitehas an oversized four-poster bed and a circular neon sign in the Apulian dialect as evidence of the place's roots; the en-suite
bathroom of this suite looks like a volume detached from the rest. The old suite 'Casedda Ostunese' becomes a meeting place on
cooler days; here the architectural sign is soft, modulated by the zenith light that penetrates from above, to leave a visual trace of the old imploded cone. The en-suite bathroom is full of
decorative ideas: from mirrors made with scraps of designer fabric, to lamps and a large shower. From the patio to the swimming pool the step is short and you reach the most magical suite of the
Cocotrullo: the'Bicocca'a minivan that lives a relationship of osmosis with the landscape, immersed in the Apulian nature.
The exteriors of the cocotrullo are a
corner of paradise, where the beautiful infinity pool continues into the landscape, thanks to the mirrored surface that multiplies its perception in a space-time dimension that extends to infinity.
Furthermore, for the maximum comfort of the guests there is a wonderful chromotherapy whirlpool tub.
